The Electricity Authority oversees and regulates the electricity market within New Zealand. They do this through developing and setting new market rules, followed by enforcing and administering them while monitoring the market.

Freear Philip recently had the pleasure of relocating the Electricity Authority to their new office. During a relocation of a large office space, there is often excess/surplus furniture as requirements when moving to a new space change.

Often organisations will take the easier option and just send excess items to the landfill, but Freear Philip and the Electricity Authority opted to find homes for their surplus furniture and benefit the community.

While new homes were found for many items, there was still an assortment of chairs, tables, and cabinets. Freear Philip were able to relocate these items to a community group with help from our friends at All Heart NZ. Freear Philip handled the dismantling, relocating and reassembly of any furniture when necessary.
